1)
We first encode all of the audio and video materials that you send us into digital format.
2)
Depending on the authoring package that you have selected (and/or other additional options that you have requested) we then begin customizing your video. This may include scrubbing the audio and video (trying to clean up the picture and sound), mixing and editing scenes, and adding special effects, scene transitions, background music, or scene titles.
3)
Your video is transcoded into a "web-friendly" format, which is then published on the secure portion of our web site. We will notify you via phone and/or e-mail that a "draft" version of your video is ready for you to preview. We will provide you with an online account and password, so that you can preview the work we have done for you at your convenience.
4)
Once you log on to your account, you can preview your video online, or save it to your hard disk for later viewing. (High speed Internet connections are required for real-time preview.
Customers with dial up connections should save files to their hard disk first.)
5)
When you preview your video, you will be able to provide us with additional information (via an online customer form), such as the titles for each DVD chapter, the starting time code for each chapter, the menu background, the menu background music, etc. (NOTE: The options that you may choose will vary based on the package that you have purchased.) We recommend that you fill out the form while you are previewing the video.
6)
Once you have submitted your selections to us, we will transcode the video and audio into a DVD-compliant format, then author the DVD based on your selections.
7)
Finally, we finish the process by preparing your DVD's packaging.Your DVD will come complete with a case similar to commercially purchased DVDs, including labels for your DVD and its case.
(Standard or customized labels will be provided depending on the services selected.)
